At 2,492 meters, the Turbón is one of the most emblematic mountains of the Ribagorza and the epicenter of the Aragonese witchcraft traditions ... Legend says that every Friday at the peak of the Turbón the witches gathered to dance and the power of celebrate evil ...

What is certain is that this mountain is absolutely worth the long hike to the top!
The view along the way and above is breathtaking and along the way you can spot alpine marmots, chamois and bearded vultures.
There are several routes to the peak, but the classic route departs from the village of Vilas de Turbón.
It is not technically difficult, but a long (7 to 8 hours) and tough hike with a height difference of no less than 1200 meters.
A true challenge and reward for your holiday in the Spanish Pyrenees.
