Cerler

Cerler is located at an altitude of no less than 1540 meters, making it the highest village in the entire province!
On the way there, you will find an impressive Mirador (viewpoint), from where you can see the village Benasque below, and further la Sierra de Chia and the spectacular Estos valley.
The village of Cerler itself was first mentioned in the ninth century, and a walk through the narrow streets and along the natural stone houses with the typical slate roofs is like a journey through time.
The 2-hour hike 'Las 3 Cascadas' departs from Cerler, along 3 waterfalls. With a height difference of 150 meters, this hike is great for the whole family. You can take a picnic with you on the way or when you return, for example, in the 12th century atmospheric restaurant Casa Cornel enjoy the regional dishes and of course the extensive wine list.
This excursion is free and can be done without guidance.
