Castillos de Samitier

A beautiful walk with spectacular views over the Spanish Pyrenees.

We pass two beautiful chapels on our way up, one is exceptionally located on a cliff and has been there since the eleventh century. In addition there are two ruins of ancient Moorish castle towers.

From the highest point of the walk there are beautiful views of the high Spanish Pyrenees and the lake.

The walk takes 2 to 2.5 hours, a well deserved break at the highest point included...
