Añisclo gorge
The Añisclo gorge is an impressive gorge in the Spanish Pyrenees, it’s situated in the National Parc Ordesa and Monte Perdido. This daytrip is a beautiful combination of an unforgettable roadtrip and an (optional) hike.
The trip by car goes through the bottom of the gorge, next to a wild flowing river. The narrow road curves through this beautiful gorge.
A parking place is found at the end of the gorge. Here you can continue on foot. The start of the walk is great, with an ancient bridge that crosses the river and from which you can look down to the water, almost 100 meters below you… A bit further you find the chapel in the rocks, San Urbez.
A beautiful daytrip. NB: the narrow road through the gorge is only one way, it’s important to enter from the Escalona side.
