This experience requires a lot of preparation and arranging, the payment is therefore bit different than our conditions state.
500 euro deposit (pp), the total amount must be paid 30 days before arrival.

Daily overview
Day 1. Pick up, and shuttle to Hotel Acebo de Casa Muria.
Pick up at Barcelona airport at 2 pm. City center at 2.30 pm. Or Zaragoza (times can be changed to your needs)
Shuttle service to 'Acebo de Casa Muria', our first hotel in the mountains. On the way you leave the stress of your flight behind you, while the environment changes from Mediterranean to increasingly mountanous.
On the terrace of this charming hotel there is a welcome reception with an informative meeting about the coming week. (more about the hotel)
Dinner at the hotel
Day 2. Valley of Benasque, Posets Maladeta Natural Park
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we leave for Forau de Aigualluts, one of the most spectacular places in Spain. During the hike we visit the famous mountain hut La Renclusa, this is where mountaineers sleep before climbing Aneto (the highest mountain in the Pyrenees at 3404 meters). We bring a picnic. In the afternoon we visit the village of Benasque, also known as Little Switzerland. A nice village with some secrets to be discovered. Return to the hotel around 6 pm. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3. Alquezar. Sierra de Guara Natural Park
After a good breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Alquezar, one of the most beautiful Spanish villages. Our route goes along the Rio Vero canyon, with spectacular (foot) bridges. This impressive landscape has been carved out of the rocks by thousands of years of weather, water and wind. The visit to (the church of) Alquezar is pure eye candy.
We have lunch in an excellent restaurant (Casa Pardina) in Alquezar. An unforgettable meal because of the special dishes with high quality products.
In the afternoon we visit the Enate vineyard so we can taste some of the best wines from the Somontano region.
Dinner at the hotel (Acebo de Casa Muria)
Day 4. Aiguestortes and San Maurici National Park.
After breakfast we will go to a third natural park, this time in Catalonia. We pass several lakes and forests until we arrive at the large mountain lake San Maurici. The scenery is absolutely stunning! In four hours we climb and descend about 500 meters, on the way we eat our picnic.
In the afternoon we visit the San Clemente de Tahull chapel, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Romanesque art in its purest form.
Return to the hotel and dinner at a restaurant not far from the hotel. Casa Chongastan in Chia has a gastronomy that is nationally recognized and is listed in the Aragonese top list.
Day 5. Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
After breakfast we check out, because we are going to the next hotel. Today we visit Ordesa y Monte Perdido national park. Majestic mountains, endless forests and beautiful valleys are waiting for us to make today a special day that we will remember! We ascend in the Ordesa valley on a hunting trail to the Faja de Pelay, a belt that will give us indescribable views. During this approximately 7-hour route we will have our picnic. We ascend about 800 meters.
We arrive at Barosse Hotel late in the afternoon. Gustavo and Josse will welcome us with open arms to this exclusive rural hotel, a little gem in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Day 6. La Jacetania. Valles Occidentales Natural Park
After a good breakfast we set off for today's goal: the ascent of Monks Peak. A wonderful and varied excursion to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Pyrenees. During the walk of about 6 hours we have our picnic. We climb and rise about 700 meters.
In the afternoon we will visit the citadel of Jaca, one of the best preserved fortresses in Spain. The citadel has been cataloged as part of the Spanish historical heritage.
We return to the hotel around 6:00 pm for a shower and a well-deserved delicious dinner.
Day 7. Mallos de Riglos natural monument
After breakfast we set course for Riglos, an unrivaled place because of the rock formations that have arisen there. We end this week of nature parks with a beautiful, light excursion along high rock towers, where many birds of prey live. A walk of about 3 hours, with 300 meters difference in altitude.
We have lunch in Restaurant Refugio de Riglos, a perfect viewpoint over the rock formations.
In the afternoon we visit the San Juan de la Peña Monastery, a Romanesque jewel in the Pyrenees.
Dinner in the city of Jaca, at the Biarritz Jaca Restaurant.
Day 8. Shuttle service back to Barcelona/Zaragoza.
After a good breakfast we check out and drive back to Barcelona or Zaragoza, where we arrive around 13:00. It’s possible to be dropped off in the city center or at the airport.
