Muro de Roda

Muro de Roda is an excursion that combines ancient culture with beautiful views. Through an ancient path (only partially paved, but can be done with a normal car) you drive up to the fort and the ancient church of Santa María.

The fort was built in the year 1017 and the church is 12th century. Also unique are the beautiful 18th century paintings inside the church.

Within the walls of the fort there are tables and benches, so a delicious picnic with views is possible. With the spectacular scenery it's all in all a memorable visit, and an outing which is also suitable for families with children.
